On April 1st, 1974, Pinellas Paint opened its doors with a simple yet ambitious goal: to provide the West Coast of Florida with the highest-quality coatings and the technical knowledge needed to apply them perfectly. Today, as we celebrate our 52nd Anniversary, that mission hasn’t just endured—it has evolved.

What began as a local family business has grown alongside the craftsmen, cabinet makers, and industrial professionals who define the character of the Tampa Bay area. Over the last five decades, we have seen the industry transform from traditional paints and lacquers to the sophisticated, high-performance chemistries of today. Through every technological shift, Pinellas Paint has remained a constant, reliable anchor for our customers.

While we are incredibly proud of our history, we view this anniversary not just as a look back, but as a commitment to the future. Our 52nd year marks a "rebirth" for Pinellas Paint. We have doubled down on our role as technical experts, curating a portfolio of world-class brands like Axalta, Milesi, Sansin and Chemcraft, and investing in AMPP-certified expertise to ensure we provide the smartest solutions in the marketplace.
